Hi Solitarysherlockian,
For the pain in your Serratus Posterior Superior I have 2 recommendations that will help you find relief.
The first option is the use of ultrasound to reduce pain and heal your soft tissue by penetrating deep and vibrating the tissue at a cellular level. This vibration gently heats the tissue, increases the flow of blood to the area bringing oxygen and nutrients to the muscle. The action creates a soothing effect on the tissue and speeds healing. 1 MHz ultrasound works with sound waves that penetrate 3 inches deep into the body reaching into your Serratus Posterior Superior through the Rhomboids and Scapula. The recommended treatment is 3 times per day for 10 minutes and you (or someone who is available to help) apply the ultrasound transducer head directly over the painful area.
The second option is the use of a Back Inferno Wrap™ that stimulates blood flow bringing oxygen and nutrients to the area, similar to ultrasound. The Inferno Wrap™ provides a therapeutic treatment that heals while you relax. The recommended treatment protocol is 2 treatments per day at 35-40 minutes per session and you strap the wrap over the painful area and wait for the therapy to occur. The Back Inferno Wrap™ is very versatile and can be used over the entire back and hip area.
Both treatments would be beneficial to reduce the pain in your Serratus Posterior Superior. To determine which is best for you, consider the time you have for the treatments and your ability to apply the treatments.

I wish you the best in your search for pain relief.
